What is a Sockatoo?
A Sockatoo is a soft, fabric based foraging toy with multiple compartments filled with a mix of bird-safe treats and toys.
It encourages natural foraging behavior – a softer alternative to traditional wood toys.
Sockatoos come in three sizes, allowing parrots of all sizes to enjoy the thrill of the hunt!

Introducing Your Parrot to a Sockatoo
After providing thousands of Sockatoos over the last 15 years, we’ve seen just about every possible first reaction. Some parrots dive right in; others need time to decide that this strange new object isn’t plotting against them.
For a fun, stress-free introduction, try hanging the Sockatoo outside the cage at first. Once curiosity wins, move it inside. You might also start with a Mini; a Classic or Ultra can look like an awfully large intruder to a cautious bird.
Most of all, be patient. Give your parrot time to investigate on his or her own terms. In our experience, even the skeptics discover the fun—and the rewards—of foraging when they’re good and ready.
